Panelists
Dr. Cynthia Sullivan has been a partner at the Neuropsychology Associates of Fairfax (NAF) since 2006. She is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Georgetown University Medical Center and is credentialed at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Virginia Hospital Center. Dr. Sullivan received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and completed her fellowship in neuropsychology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Washington, D.C. For the next 5 years, she was the co-director of the neuropsychology program at the VAMC and served as the psychologist for the chronic pain program.

Brigid Reynolds RN, MSN, and NP joined the Memory Disorders Program in 2001. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Catholic University of America in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in 1989. Brigid is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining the Memory Disorders Program, Brigid’s career focused on home care, primary care, and case management for elderly patients. Presently she is on Faculty at Georgetown University where she specializes in evaluating and treating patients with memory problems and is a Research Investigator conducting clinical trials of potential new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Lindsey Vajpeyi is the Director of Education and Outreach at Insight Memory Care Center in Fairfax, VA. Lindsey has dedicated her career to working with older adults who live with dementia and their caregivers. Her certifications include Certified Dementia Practitioner®, Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer®, Activity Director Certification with specialization in Memory Care, Master Trainer with the Best Friends™ Approach to Dementia Care, and she is a registered Dementia Friends Champion. Lindsey is passionate about quality dementia care from professionals, support and education for care partners, and assisting those with dementia to retain a sense of self and purpose throughout every stage of the disease.
