Kensington Reston Summer Club Memory Café
Have your best summer yet! The Kensington Reston is proudly partnering with Insight Memory Care Center to host our Memory Café Summer Club, a weekly engagement program of summer activities, peer support, recreation and socialization for individuals showing early signs of memory loss and their caregivers.
Every gathering is geared toward keeping the mind active through summer-themed topics such as travel, adventure, entertainment, relaxation and more.
The Kensington Memory Café offers a range of features to ensure a fulfilling experience for both caregivers and their loved ones:
Led by dementia-certified Insight Memory Care Center specialist in a small group setting.
Structured activities designed to promote nonverbal communication, reminiscence, cognition, and engagement, including wellness exercises, expressive arts, and music therapies.
Opportunities for meaningful conversation and relationship-building.
Expert resources and tools to take home and incorporate into your caregiving routine.
