Congratulations Deborah!

Deborah Aquino is our "We Care" Employee of the Year!

Deborah has been with Insight for just over a year, and she has already made a huge impact for our Day Center participants. As a Recreation Coordinator, she works each day with participants in our Blue, Orange, and Coral groups to provide engagement, purpose - and fun!

"Deborah has mastered the ability to connect with participants and families. As a recreation team member, she provides an inclusive and fun program for our participants. Deborah takes the opportunity to have individual interactions and activities with participants. Using the Best Friends Approach Deborah ensures participants have quality of life. Deborah embraces times of transition by taking on additional responsibility and always seeking ways to improve. Deborah’s proactive response and ability to contribute outside of her normal activities has helped the Day Center run smoothly during challenging times. Deborah embodies teamwork, naturally collaborating and working alongside other departments. Deborah’s positive outlook is contagious, and her presence boosts the morale of others."

Insight's "We Care" employee recognition program recognizes those who have shown their commitment to our values, going above and beyond for our participants and families. Employees are nominated by their peers and honored quarterly, with a yearly winner chosen each June.
