Creating a Dementia Friendly Home
For a person living with dementia, living at home can give you a sense of independence. By making some changes to your home, you are able to continue with the routines or activities you enjoy. Each of these changes can help you stay safe, active, and allow you to continue to enjoy your home.
This class will be held both virtually and in-person in Fairfax. Please select your attendance type when you register.
The in-person session will be held in the Mazawey Education and Support Center, 3955 Pender Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030.
Virtual attendees will receive Zoom information prior to the class.
This program is a part of our monthly Care Partner Training series. All sessions are FREE, and held the second Wednesday of each month from 1:00 to 2:30 pm.

Dr. Lisa Bagby OTD, OTR/L, MHA
Lisa Bagby, OTD, OTR/L, MHA is an occupational therapist, educator, health administrator, and advocate. She has worked with adult and older adult populations for more than 15 years and has a passion for helping people age in place, maximizing their independence and quality of life. Lisa is an advocate and is passionate about education; ensuring people have the information they need to make empowered and informed decisions.
